According to friends from Catalonia, Penjar or Colgar are the best, or only, types of tomatoes that can be used to make the Catalan Tomato Bread (Pa Amb Tomàquet). Growth habit is semi-indeterminate, they do benefit from trellising and light pruning. Largish 2-2&1/2” fruit has a pink cast to the skin, firm flesh and yellow shoulders. Packet (1/4 g. ≈ 30 seeds)
