Privacy & analytics

You can browse Sovereign Shops without allowing optional analytics. Your choice does not affect searching, saving products, or shopping with independent sellers.

Optional visit measurement

If you allow it, Google Analytics helps us understand visits to public marketplace, product, shop, and community pages. It uses analytics cookies and receives technical information about your browser and device. Google explains its processing in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Our integration does not send names, email addresses, account IDs, search text, private collections, URL query strings, or URL fragments. Analytics is not loaded on private account or admin pages. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.

To understand how visitors find us, optional analytics may recognize the website domain of a known search engine, social network, or AI service such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Copilot. We send only that service's origin, not its page path, conversation identifier, prompt, query string, or fragment. Unknown referring websites are omitted. Some services and apps do not provide a referrer, so these reports cannot measure every referral.

Product performance reports

With the same optional analytics choice, our in-house system counts visible product impressions, opened product details, and clicks to a seller's product page. It records product and shop identifiers, the day, and a broad location such as search, a shop page, or a collection—not your search words or a collection's identity. These aggregate counts help us improve discovery and can support performance reports for featured placements.

These reports do not identify individual shoppers or confirm purchases. We do not store names, email addresses, account identifiers, browsing histories, or raw IP addresses in the product metrics database. Random event identifiers are kept briefly to prevent duplicate counts. A rotating, one-way hash of the network address is used only for short-lived abuse limits, not shopper profiles. The in-house system also skips browsers sending Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.

Essential site features

Sign-in and saved collections rely on essential account and session information, separate from optional analytics. Collections you choose to share are visible in the community. Purchases happen on the seller's own website and are covered by that seller's privacy practices.
