These products are produced by the bees and usually float to the top of the jar when it is bottled. The honey will be crystallized with a texture range from grainy to smooth. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Honey Board recommend that honey not be given to babies younger than one year of age.
