sweet corn or flour corn, so you can grow them together. Cassiopeia Popcorn is a n Open Source Seed Initiative pledged variety bred by Don Tipping in southern Oregon. Seeds originated from Cochiti Pueblo, crossed with 4 other strains over 11 years. Planting Instructions: Plant Cassiopeia Popcorn seeds in May, 1" deep and 4" apart. Harvest ears as husks turn brown. Make popcorn by first allowing cobs to dry completely (up to a month in our dry Colorado or Southwest climate). Seed Saving Instructions: Pick corn cobs when fingernail does not dent kernels, as leaves are browning. Shuck (remove leaves) and allow kernels to dry fully on the cob, up to a month. Store seeds in a paper or mesh bag in a cool, dark and dry location. Approx 100 Cassiopeia Popcorn seeds per packet
