Burn in a Draft-Free Area To ensure your candle burns evenly and lasts longer, always place it in a draft-free area. Drafts can disrupt the flame, causing uneven burn and wax waste. Allow a Full Melt Pool During the first burn, allow the candle to burn long enough for the entire top layer of wax to melt and form a full melt pool.
