individual yarns are dyed before weaving, the plaid is woven directly into the cloth rather than printed onto the surface. This gives the fabric beautiful depth and color on both sides. At approximately 102 GSM , this is a lightweight, breathable woven cotton with a soft hand and lovely movement. It’s especially beautiful for garments where you want fullness without a lot of weight. We love it for gathered and paneled skirts, dresses, oversized tops, button-up shirts, children’s clothing, lightweight pants, scarves and accessories. The oversized plaid also makes this one especially fun for pattern placement and mixing the direction of the checks. Sold by the ½ yard.
