Planting Instructions: Start Genovese basil seed in flats and transplant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed, or direct seed outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Sow 1/4" deep and keep seeds moist. Basil loves warmth and dies with frosts, so make sure to harvest all your remaining basil (or cover well) when the first fall frost arrives. To prolong your basil harvest, pinch off flowering tops. Seed Saving Instructions : Allow select plants to bolt and go to seed. Collect seeds when dry and they easily crumble into your hand (or a bucket). Store in a cool, dark and dry place. Approx 100 Genovese Basil seeds per packet
